Aivilo Charlotte Treasure Hunt Skirt Review

I love skirts for any time of the year, but especially summer...they are so fun and breezy! I was excited to get to test the Aivilo Treasure Hunt skirt for both of those reasons, plus...did you see those ADORABLE bubble pockets! They are just perfect for hiding little treasures and keeping them safe.
Thanks to Rainbow Horse on Amazon Prime video, suddenly there has been a huge interest in all things rainbow and...well...horsey. Haha. I love how the skirt really highlights a center panel and I figured the treasured unicorn fabric would be perfect. The center front and back panels are only lightly gathered--you could probably put a cute applique or monogram there too!
If you've never tried an Aivilo Charlotte pattern before, what you are you waiting for?? I love both her bag and her children's patterns. They are easy to follow with clear pictures and the finishing techniques are top notch. The only exposed seams in this skirt are the side seams where the skirt panels are joined. The waist band and skirt band seams are completely finished. Not only does it look professional, but it is great for kids with sensitivity issues too. No *scratchy* finishes!
Sizes for the skirt are an amazing 6-12m to 14 years and a chart for sizing and fabric requirements is listed. There are no pattern pieces to print (yay!), only measurements. This makes it a quick and easy sew, too. Make sure you are following Aivilo Charlotte on Facebook to see more pictures and get the sale information!
